And who was it that fired Volcker because he wasn't an adequate de-regulator? Ronnie did. Who also is the reason he was even there? That terrible Jimmy Carter guy. And of course he caught fire from all sides, he started a man-made recession for Christ sake, matter of fact Jesus himself would catch a lot of flack for doing that.

Well mine actually adds up and credits the right person with the turn around. No they weren't, you can say it was the combination, but Reagans part did little. Did it hurt? Nope. Did it really help? Nope.

Are you sure your an accounting person.
I took economics too, and one thing I learned from observation and study is that theoretically, trickle-down economics should work, but it doesn't work in practice. Marc Levin is a trickle-down Reaganomics guy. It only helps the bigger businesses, and the money never "trickles-down" to where it's theorized it should.

Some of this is too rambling to follow, but Volcker was replaced by Alan Greenspan. Your post assumes that he was incompetent. Is that your position?

    Revisionist history is so funny......

What part was rambling? You said who didn't fire him, well Reagan did, just not right then. He did catch heat, a lot of heat, but with his plan there's no way he wouldn't.

Was who incompetent? I'm saying that's why Reagan fired him, because he wasn't playing part in Reagan's. Those weren't my words by the way, Joseph Stiglitz did.

Was Alan Greenspan incompetent? I thought I made that clear, but then your post seems disjointed to me?

Of course he wasn't, I don't get how that makes a difference in what Volcker did and what conservatives give Reagan credit for?
